Celebrated Leeds-born novelist, Barbara Taylor Bradford OBE, has received one of the city’s highest civic honours. In recognition of her nationally and internationally acclaimed work, Barbara has been recognised with a prestigious Leeds Award.
The UK’s most senior female editors and high profile writers came together last night (26 November 2019) to honour Barbara Taylor Bradford OBE at a special Woman in Journalism (WIJ) dinner held at the Corinthia London.
For the first time ever, Barbara Taylor Bradford is returning to the very beginning of the story of A Woman of Substance, with a prequel, Blackie and Emma, to be published in 2020.
Bob, the love of my life and my adored husband, passed away on Tuesday 2nd July at 3.15am in New York’s Weill Cornell Hospital. I was by his side, holding his hand.
